Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to website owners. Acme uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage, pixel tags) to operate and improve our Services.

We use the following categories of cookies:

• Strictly necessary — essential for the Services to function. These include session cookies that keep you logged in and security cookies that prevent CSRF attacks. These cannot be disabled.
• Functional — remember your preferences (e.g. theme, language, sidebar state) so you don't have to reset them each visit.
• Analytics — help us understand how users interact with the Services (pages visited, features used, time on page). We use PostHog for this purpose. Data is aggregated and anonymised where possible.
• Marketing — used on our marketing site (not inside the product) to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns. You can opt out at any time.

Some of our service providers set their own cookies. The main ones are:

• Stripe — payment processing. Cookies are used to prevent fraud.
• PostHog — product analytics. Session replay and event tracking.
• Sentry — error monitoring. Used to track and diagnose bugs.

These providers have their own privacy and cookie policies. We recommend reviewing them directly.

You can control cookies in several ways:

• Browser settings — most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note that disabling cookies may affect functionality.
• Cookie banner — when you first visit our marketing site, you can accept or reject non-essential cookies.
• Account settings — logged-in users can manage analytics preferences under Settings → Privacy.
• Opt-out links — for PostHog opt-out, visit posthog.com/privacy.

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. We currently do not respond to DNT signals, as there is no industry-standard interpretation. We do, however, offer the opt-out mechanisms described in Section 4.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app banner. Continued use of our Services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
