Introducing Acme 2.0: The workspace reimagined

When we launched Acme in 2021, we had one goal: build the workspace we always wished we had. Fast, opinionated, and genuinely delightful to use. Two years and ten thousand teams later, we're ready to raise the bar again.

Acme 2.0 is the biggest release we've ever shipped. We've rebuilt the core editor from scratch — it's now 3× faster on large documents, with real-time collaboration that actually feels real-time. No lag. No conflicts. No 'someone else is editing this' banners.

We've also rethought how projects are organised. The new Spaces model lets you group projects, people, and goals into one coherent view. Think of it as a room in your building — everything that belongs together, together.

Beyond the big features, we've shipped 40+ small improvements you'll notice immediately: smarter keyboard shortcuts, a redesigned command palette, inline comments that don't break your flow, and a dark mode that doesn't make your eyes hurt.
